Installation

Basic Hardware and Software Requirements:

• Click on the 'Start' button, at the bottom left corner.
• Choose 'Settings' from the menu.
• Choose 'Control Panel' from the 'Settings' menu.
• Double click on the 'Add / Remove Programs' icon.
• Click on the 'Install' button to start the installation.
• Insert the installation CD in the drive.
• After the CD is in the drive, Click on the 'Next' button.
• The Windows installation program will search for the installation program on the disc and display it in the 'Command line for installation program' edit box.
• Click on the 'End' button.

Installation

Now, the 'Control Center Installation' screen will appear. If you wish to cancel the installation, choose 'Cancel'. To continue the installation, choose 'next'. At this point, several files required for the installation process will be copied from the installation diskette to your computer.

The 'Choose Destination Location' dialog will appear. This dialog screen is used to determine the directory in which Control Center will be installed. It is recommended to install it in the default directory. The directory name appears in the 'Destination Folder' panel. After the destination folder has been chosen, click on the 'Next' button to continue the installation. Do the same for the Destination of the data files.

Click 'next' to select program folder dialog. At this point, the setup program will copy the program files from the installation CD or diskette to your HD, according to the parameters previously entered.

After copying all the necessary files to your computer, the 'Select Components' dialog screen will appear. This dialog box has two checkboxes:

• 1.Create a Shortcut to Control Center on my desktop'. Check this box if you want to create a shortcut on your desktop.

• 2. Run Control Center automatically upon startup'. Check this box if you want Control Center to load on start up. Press 'Next' to continue the installation. The 'Information' screen will appear, confirming that the installation was successful. Click on the 'finish' button.

Installation

Defining screen resolution and colors: Right-click on an empty spot on the desktop (the Windows 95™ background). Choose 'Properties' from the menu. The 'Display Properties' dialog will appear. Choose 'Settings' (at the top right side of the dialog). · Set the display area to 800x600.

• Set the color palette to 24 true bit colors.
• Set the font size to 'Large Fonts'.
• Confirm the new settings by clicking on the 'Ok' button.
• Restart the computer if necessary.
