Recording Video

Basic Points of Interest....

• Recording Starts once video begins to be transmitted by the remote unit
• Parameters can be sent to increase the quality of the video. These settings will be discussed later

Once you are connected the recording process begins...

As you select different cameras the recorded video changes with your every selection. In the tool bar you will notice the record icon is filled in with the color red; indicating recording is taking place.

To PAUSE the recording session click the PAUSE button. The button will turn bright green. Press again to resume recording.

To Stop the recording session click the RECORD button. The button will turn orange and begin to blink. Press again to resume recording.

There is a difference between PAUSING and STOPPING a recording session.

Important note...STOP VIDEO

Every time you STOP and START a recording you create a new video file each time.

EXAMPLE you visit a location..after 2 minutes you press the RECORD BUTTON to stop the recording. After 5 minutes you press RECORD again; then after 2 minutes you press RECORD again to stop the recording.

When you go to view your recordings you will find TWO files each two minutes long. While you have the recording STOPPED the camera views will still be active and visible.

Important note...PAUSE VIDEO

Every time you PAUSE and UNPAUSE a recording you create a only one video file.

EXAMPLE you visit a location..after 2 minutes you press the PAUSE BUTTON to pause the recording. After 5 minutes you press PAUSE again; then after 2 minutes you press PAUSE again to pause the recording.

When you go to view your recording you will find ONE file four minutes long.

While you have the recording PAUSED the camera views WILL NOT be active; but are visible.

Also; until you press STOP (record) you will not be able to view the current recording session in the VIDEO PLAYER.
