OzVision, an Israeli high technology, engineering organization which has been involved with the electronic security product industry for many years. Established in 1995 we are well known to have engineered and developed many current products on the market available for the professional security industry.

Oz meaning "strength" in Hebrew; represents our family commitment to the remote video market. The primary focus of the Ozvision team is to apply our collective knowledge of remote video monitoring within the securities field and combine that in a simple, easy to install, easy to use hardware and software solution. Two patented pieces of technology come into play.

The first is a unique compression and streaming algorithm that enables high and constant video streaming over any network. No matter what the bandwidth is or how much motion is in the video, the quality of the video never drops, not like other video streaming algorithms such as MPEG-4, h.263 or H.323.

The second patent is a unique hardware core based on 3 powerful processors (real time, DSP, RISC) that work in parallel. The real time processor was developed by OzVision, to process the live video stream which comes from the camera and performs a major part of the compression algorithm; on site. This enables the use of a very small DSP as a co processor, and a minimum size RISC processor for managing the communication and all system parameters.

Although the OzVision family of products are well known throughout Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia we have only recently taken it upon ourselves to enter the American market in an proactive role. Some of our products have been available in the US as OEM devices from other manufactures.
