OzVision, the leading developer of remote video compression technology for the security industry, today announced it has named Louis T. Fiore as technical advisor.  Fiore is currently president of L.T. Fiore, Inc., a consulting practice that focuses on regulatory issues impacting security systems and the use of wireless and Internet technologies for alarm monitoring.  Fiore was previously president of the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) from 1997-1999.

August 19, 2005 - OzVision Collaborates with Major Security Manufacturerto Provide Technology for Video Verification Module
Honeywell's V4000 Remote Video System is an OzVision Compatible, “plug-and-play” module that integrates seamlessly with its VISTA Series alarm panels. The V4000 works like a digital dialer in an alarm panel by dialing in to the central station and transmitting pre and post video clips of a triggered event over standard telephone and cellular lines. By adding the V4000 module, security dealers can now increase recurring revenue by offering their customers new video monitoring services for security and business management at OzVision Compatible central stations. These services include visual verification, open/close video reports, scheduled video tours and video e-mail notification on events.

   

June 9, 2005 - Three OzVision Training Seminars Earn CEU Accreditation
Three of OzVision’s in-depth and informative training seminars have earned CEU accreditation. The new courses – Installation of OzVision 4CS and 12CS, OzVision Central Station Operator Training and OzVision for Central Station IT Operations – are the latest OzVision courses to earn CEU accreditation. Recurring Revenue from Video, a sales course on selling video services, previously earned CEU accreditation several years ago.
